10th June.

Off today to visit a few more places. Last day with Sue and Vince.

First stop Sete, Venice of the south. Yeah right. Ok it had water. It had a couple of rivers close together. It had boats tied up all along the rivers. It had, had.......

Stopped in town trying to find our way to Bezier. Behind an illegally parked car actually and no sooner had we stopped than the boys in blue were behind us, books out. Lucky escape for us, not so for the car in front. I didn't even realise there was no-one in the car in front, I just thought Vince had stopped in traffic. Still not used to cars not having drivers were they should.

Arrived in Beziers to check out the series of locks operating on the canal. By the time we had lunch it was time to let a couple of big old cruisers through. Heaps of people watching. The place was dusty and dry. Needed a good rain and a little bit of money spent on it.

After the locks off to visit the church on the top of the hill. Easy to spot at the bottom. Easy to find. Not bloody likely. Karen didn't know it's name and neither did we so we were stuffed. Couldn't see over the height of the buildings so in the end Sue had to use all her charms on the local lads and we were sent in the right direction.

Found the signs for it and headed off into the back lanes off the main shopping section. Now we twisted and turned more than a few times and we were having trouble getting around the corners and if we had to go back we would have been in serious trouble believe me. Or Vince would have been cause we would have left him to Karen. Just when we thought that we can't possible be on the right track we go around the corner and there is the church and the car park. Unbelievable. Going back down the other side was just as tight.

Had a look around and back home and pizza at their place and an early night for us.
